Albert Heijn x Efteling

Two brands, one world of wonder.

Challenge: How do you bring two strong brands together without losing what makes either of them distinctive?
Albert Heijn needed to remain clearly present, while Efteling's world had to feel magical, exciting and instantly recognisable. The campaign also needed to connect with a broad audience, from young children discovering fairytales to teenagers looking for their next thrill.

The idea:
We created a magical campaign world where Albert Heijn savings unlock the wonder of Efteling. A dreamlike collage of iconic characters, attractions and landscapes combined fairytale magic with rollercoaster adventure in a way that could only exist in your imagination. Langnek's iconic height links to the "highest savings" message, while Albert Heijn's distinctive blue skies and typography ensured strong brand recognition.
